Special Event Posts

Special, local events make great hotel blog posts. This includes everything from an annual music festival to a special concert series. Consider reaching out to the organizers about discounted tickets or package deals for stays and tickets. Post about the event on your website and do a short promotion for the special sale. This gives the hotel and the event publicity.

Write About Your Property

You run a hotel, and you should definitely write about it. This includes everything from the physical building to the activities offered. If you have a new amenity, the perfect way to announce it to past and future guests is in a hotel blog post.

Review Posts

Your guests are already leaving reviews on sites like TripAdvisor or on your website. They might be generic reviews, such as “Great place. I’d stay again!” to an in-depth breakdown of their stay.  These are often used by travelers to explore different properties.

Meet the Staff

Do you have a program that highlights your staff accomplishments? This can be anything from an Employee of the Month program to accomplishments outside of your business. Approach staff members that you’d like to highlight in the blog and use it as a reward.

They can be featured and become a ‘face’ of your company. When people read about your workers, you improve the know, like and trust factor. When they meet someone during their stay you highlighted, it shows your workers are real and humanizes them.
